Actor and avid motorsport enthusiast Ajith Kumar recently faced a harrowing moment during practice for the prestigious Dubai 24 Hours race (24H Dubai 2025). While driving at a speed of 180 kmph, Ajith’s car spun out of control and crashed into the barriers just minutes before the six-hour endurance test session concluded.

A video shared by his team reveals the intensity of the crash, with Ajith’s Porsche spinning seven times before coming to a halt. The actor was immediately rescued and taken to an ambulance for medical checks. His manager, Suresh Chandra, reassured fans with a health update:
“Ajith is unhurt, hale, and healthy.”
Ajith Kumar Racing’s Participation
Ajith leads his own racing team, Ajith Kumar Racing, which was set to debut in endurance racing with the Dubai 24 Hours event. The team includes experienced racers Mathieu Detry, Fabian Duffieux, and Cameron McLeod. Notably, Fabian Duffieux took over as team manager last December to strengthen the team’s strategy.
In endurance racing, each team member drives for six hours in a relay over a 24-hour period. Ajith’s crash occurred near the end of his scheduled practice session.
